Hello..my GATE 2014 Score 676 (marks 53.64) and AIR is 2158. I'm a GEN student and I admit I have less interest towards research..after doing Master's programme all I want is a good tag as well as a good knowledge in my subject of preference (VLSI) ..a campus placement with initially not so attractive salary package is ok for me..but i want a core placement. Right now I don't look forward to do a PhD after Master's..but as my GATE rank is not so good what should I do..if applying for an MS is not my option then should I go to the not-so-good NITs or wait for an year?? Please help..
If I have to study MS in VLSI or related subjects, in which IITs should I apply..

sir ,does mtech students of electrical engineering of iits get placed in organizations relevant to their field??actually i am pursuing btech from a non reputed private colege and only IT companies come to their placement drive.i dont want to work in IT industry and neither do i want a teaching job.I just want to work in core sectors
